In fact, using the Disney Transportation System is one of the main benefits of staying at a Disney resort: you never have to park your car in an enormous parking lot. Possibly, at certain peak times driving your car might be faster than using the Disney buses, but by and large, the buses do an excellent job. Even theme park-visitors who aren’t staying at Disney resorts are free to use the Disney buses to travel from park to park, or to the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon waterparks, and Downtown Disney. Casino Ballroom to host Gospel Festival

Saturday, March 21 will see some of the biggest names in Gospel Music together for the first annual Catalina Gospel Music Festival. Headlining the show will be the renowned Temptations Review, featuring Dennis Edwards. They will be supported by six-time Grammy nominee Vicky Winans, and House of Blues “Best Male Gospel Group” the Starlights. Tickets range from $60 to $100, and may be purchased online or from the Catalina Chamber of Commerce. In honor of the festival, the Santa Catalina Island Company has put together an outstanding package for that weekend only.  ”Advance Reservations” for restaurants

It’s easy, it’s free, and for most Disney World restaurants it entails no commitment — yet you get seated for meals quickly, instead of waiting in line.

Advance Reservations (formerly called Priority Seating) is, like Fastpass, a free and convenient service that rescues you from line-ups. Despite the name change, at most restaurants “Advance Reservations” is not really a reservation system: i.e. the restaurant will not be holding a table for your arrival. Rather, when you arrive at the restaurant, you’ll be fast-tracked to the next available table. Arrive about fifteen minutes before your appointed time; your wait time will probably be 15 to 30 minutes, maybe less.

A nice thing about these Advance Reservations is that typically you’re under no obligation to show up.However, if you’re asked for a credit card to assure your booking, this is a different type of arrangement, i.e. a real reservation. A growing number of restaurants at Disney World are now moving to committed reservations; deposits may even be required.

For example: at the popular Character Breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table, you’ll need to pay up front with a credit card, though you can get a refund if you cancel 24 hours in advance.
